About Our Service

Our Postnatal Hubs provide community midwifery-led support for women and babies for up to six weeks after birth, and women’s health physiotherapy support for up to six months post birth.

We offer scheduled appointments and welcoming group sessions providing women with peer support, postnatal education and physio-led postnatal reconditioning classes.

With expert, compassionate care, we can help you feel strong, empowered and ready for this new chapter of life!

Opening Hours: Monday – Friday (see times below).

Locations: Primary Care Centres in Celbridge, Newbridge, Tallaght, Crumlin and Clondalkin.

Services Include

Midwifery & Physiotherapy Supports

Our Midwifery Support
Our midwifery team provides expert guidance on recovery after birth, infant feeding and newborn care. In addition to in-person appointments, we also offer support over the phone, ensuring you have access to advice and reassurance whenever you need it. Scheduled appointments are available for up to six weeks post birth.

Our Physiotherapy Support

Our physiotherapy services help new mothers to rebuild strength, confidence and comfort after birth. This includes pelvic floor rehabilitation, core restoration and support in easing back and pelvic pain. Scheduled appointments are available for up to six months postnatally.

Our Group Sessions
We also offer a range of interactive group sessions at the hubs, providing a supportive space to learn from our midwives and physiotherapist, ask questions and connect with other new parents.

Postnatal Education Classes

These midwife led sessions run over four weeks and include one class delivered by our physiotherapist. They are suitable for women up to six weeks post birth and are available at all hubs.

Postnatal Reconditioning Exercise Classes

Delivered by our physiotherapist, these classes run over six weeks and are designed for women from six weeks to six months postnatal. Classes are currently available at Tallaght, Crumlin and Clondalkin.

Places are limited, so please sign up in advance and keep an eye out for upcoming dates. It’s a lovely opportunity to take some time for yourself (with your baby!) and to meet other parents in the area.
