About Our Service

Our semi-private clinic is a fee-based clinic. Most women who choose to attend our semi-private clinic use private health insurance to cover as much of the cost as possible.

Please make sure that you contact your health care insurance company directly before opting to attend our semi-private or private clinic. The level of cover set out by your insurer is liable to change from time to time. If your private health insurance does not cover all the costs you incur whilst in hospital, you will be expected to pay any excess in full. Please view our hospital charges and private health insurance information.

Booking a Semi-Private Clinic

As the semi-private clinics become booked up very quickly, we strongly advise you to send your completed form back as soon as possible.

Your care during the antenatal stage will be led by a consultant obstetrician or specialist registrar. Whilst we make every effort, you may not see the same doctor at each visit.

In most cases, your care will be shared between the hospital doctors and your GP. When the time comes for you to deliver your baby, the labour ward midwives will care for you, with additional care from the medical team if necessary.
