

About Our Service
The Coombe Hospital Enhanced Endometriosis Clinic provides care for women who have received a definitive diagnosis of endometriosis from stages 1-4. Care is provided holistically with an emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach, both medically and surgically. The clinical team is supported by pain specialists, along with a specialist physiotherapist and dietician.
A GP referral is required to access this service.

Yes, you will need to have a definitive diagnosis of endometriosis.

During your first visit you will meet with a gynaecologist or specialist who will review your medical history and discuss your current condition. A physical exam/pelvic exam may be performed.

It is always helpful to bring any relevant medical records to your appointment.

Appointments:
All appointments can be directed through Hospital reception: 01 408 5200, 24 hours a day -
Health Insurance:
We operate a direct payment scheme with VHI, Laya Healthcare, Irish Life Health, Garda Medical Aid, ESB, Medical Provident Fund, and Prison Officers Medical Aid. If you are covered by any of these insurers, the relevant insurance forms are signed electronically on your admission to hospital.
