Information on COVID-19

At The Coombe we are committed to delivering excellent care to all our women and babies. At this uncertain time we are here to reassure you and provide you with the most up to date information and resources.


In line with public health policy, everyone attending the hospital must wear a mask to protect yourself, other women and our staff, so that we can continue to provide services.

If you have a derogation for wearing a mask, you must provide evidence of this.

Antenatal Education Videos & Online Classes

We are delighted to launch our online interactive antenatal classes which have been established in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We have adopted a blended learning approach to our antenatal education using online classes and education videos to help ensure that you to get maximum benefit from your time with us.

Booking registration is available from 24 weeks of pregnancy through our website.

Our multidisciplinary team have also created a suite of antenatal education videos to guide you and your partner through pregnancy, labour & birth and your transition to parenthood.

Maternity Patient Registration Form

If you would like to register for maternity services at the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital, please download our maternity registration form. Once downloaded please print and complete the form. The completed form must be posted to the hospital along with your supporting documents.

If you don’t have access to a printer you can e-mail your name and address to antenatal@coombe.ie and we will post a maternity registration form to you.
