About Our Service

In the ultrasound department we aim to provide excellence in diagnostic antenatal imaging to all our women. We understand the need to deliver this service in a manner that respects the uniqueness and dignity of each person, regardless of ethnicity, culture or religion. Our care is based on trust , information sharing and support. Our sonographers are highly trained specialised practitioners , linking in with our fetal medicine consultants if appropriate.

We understand that ultrasound care may include the detection of abnormal conditions in mother and babies and we aim to provide support and relevant up to date, evidence based counselling in those situations for optimum outcomes for our clients.
