About Our Service

This course is a combination of hypnotherapy and mindfulness that has been used by women all over the world to enhance their birth experience.  Mindful hypnobirthing is not only about relaxation. It helps you to prepare both emotionally and physically for birth and parenthood and can have a very positive effect on you, your baby and your birth partner.

What is involved in Hypnobirthing?

This hypnobirthing course will take you through the physiology of birth, helping you and your birthing partner understand how your body works, preparing you for your birthing experience.

It works in two ways, using hypnobirthing techniques to help you process conscious and unconscious fears about birth, which will help your body to relax and respond to labour in an optimal way.  During the classes, we will guide you through these tools and techniques helping you to prepare for birth in the weeks that follow. With daily practice you can then use what you have learned and apply it to the different moments that arise during labour.  On the day, mindfulness will help you to stay connected to the experience and the rhythm of your body in each moment.

It is important to understand, that Mindful Hypnobirthing is a commitment and not just about attending the course.  You and your birthing partner will need to find the time to learn and practise the techniques until you are both comfortable and confident in their use.

When you are preparing for your birth using hypnobirthing and practising every day, it may help you to sleep better and feel more relaxed and be calmly excited about the birth of your baby.

If you are interested in taking this course, we recommend you enrol in this class as early as possible (anytime from 18 weeks) to ensure you give yourself the time to prepare.
