General Gynaecology

The Coombe Hospital provides the largest and most comprehensive Gynaecology surgical service in the country.

A wide range of outpatient and inpatient services are available for women of all ages with gynaecological problems who are referred by their GPs or consultants from other hospitals. You may opt to be treated as either a public or a private patient.

Services include:

• Abnormal, irregular bleeding or no bleeding

• Abnormal vaginal discharge

• Pelvic pain

• Dyspareunia

• Abnormal pelvic ultrasound requiring specialist follow-up

• Vulval skin conditions

• Polycystic ovarian syndrome

• Post coital bleeding

• Endometriosis - suspected or diagnosed
