Patient Information

The information on this section is for patients, their families and members of the public. We hope it tells you everything you need to know about coming to the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital.

Amongst other things, here you will find:

  • A Patient Registration Form, which you must complete and return to us by fax or post before we can give you an antenatal appointment. Downloading the form from the box on the right hand side of this page is faster and easier for you, instead of telephoning us to request a Registration Form
  • A list of our consultants in the Patient Registration & Hospital Charges section
  • Information about Outpatient appointments at the hospital
  • Charges for private and semi-private patients, which you will find in the Patient Registration & Hospital Charges section
  • Inpatient admissions information, including what to bring in your hospital bag
  • Some Frequently Asked Questions, which can be found in the Maternity section

Click on the bars to the left hand side of this page to read about these and other topics. If you still have questions, go to the Contact Us section by clicking on the Quick Link, which can be found on the right hand side of this page.

Important Message about Abortion Services

In this context, these services will not be available on 1st January 2019.

The Department of  Health and the HSE have been notified of the Hospital's consistent position in relation to this.
