The Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital (CWIUH) has today announced a new departure for staff and patients with the provision of an ongoing series of writings inspired by parenthood from Dublin poet, Enda Wyley. The poetry can be accessed through the CWIUH's recently launched website www.coombe.ie

On Thursday 6th October, the hospital, with Dublin UNESCO City of Literature celebrated All Ireland Poetry Day  with a lunchtime reading with Enda Wyley.

To Wake To This, Enda Wyley's most recent collection of poetry contains a number of works inspired by becoming a mother for the first time. On reading this collection, the Master of the Coombe, Dr Chris Fitzpatrick was prompted to ask Enda to share her writing with the staff and patients at the hospital.
